I played basketball from childhood up to College and I’ve been through about every type of hoop shoe there is. These James harden shoes are great for a certain type of player. They’re actually very fit for a player that hoops like James harden. You can be very finesse in these shoes. I play very layed back and I shoot a lot of jump shots. These shoes are great looking and serve well for that play style. But for an explosive player who changes direction at high speeds & stops on a dime. You’d just have to be careful in these. Not to say they don’t have ankle support. But Just be aware of your movements & play with control. Great shoe though. These are my everyday Hoop’s shoes as of right now.
